Join you AMIS friends as the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra takes the stage with celebrated cellist Kian Soltani on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
Program: vast Scandinavian snowfields and impenetrable pine forests meet a blazing musical spirit in Jean Sibelius's alluring Symphony No. 5. British maestro Nicholas Collon, chief conductor of the Finnish Radio Symphony, makes his Atlanta Symphony Orchestra debut, along with the young cello firebrand Kian Soltani. Witness Soltani's superhuman artistry as he tackles Lutosławski's blisteringly virtuosic Cello Concerto. The concert opens with the ASO debut of Outi Tarkianien's mystical symphonic poem The Ring of Fire and Love.
The Concert begins at 8 PM. AMIS will meet up in the lobby in the lower level area between the two staircases at 7:30 PM for a group picture and to meet one another. Grab a drink or snack from the bar and join us there!
