Join us for a morning hike on Arabia Mountain! We will beat the heat by hiking to the top of Arabia Mountain before the afternoon sun, and we will also have a chance to hike around a small lake in the area (time permitting). Don't miss this opportunity to make friends while enjoying time in nature!

About the Event
There is currently a waiting list for students needing transportation. If you are able to drive students from a MARTA station in Atlanta, please email Emily Spears at emily@amisatlanta.org.
The Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area is southeast of the city, and it is a wonderful spot to do some easy hiking. We will depart Atlanta by 9:15 AM on Saturday, June 14th, and arrive to the AWARE Wildlife Center (one of the access points for Arabia Mountain) before 10 AM. Transportation will be offered based on the availability of drivers. If you are arranging your own transportation, please meet us at the Wildlife Center no later than 10 AM. Parking at AWARE is limited, but there is a larger free lot down the street at Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Center.
Once there, we can check out the Wildlife Center (looking only), then proceed to hike to the summit of Arabia Mountain.…
