About Master Gardener, Wendy Kohn:
Wendy enjoys being in the garden, growing and harvesting, communing with nature, learning from expert gardeners, and helping others design and build gardens. These are the things that brighten her days.
Since moving to Atlanta in 2010, Mrs. Kohn completed gardening certifications programs at UGA and Emory and volunteered at various Master Gardener programs in Atlanta.
She is passionate about vegetable gardening and in 2017, got her first 8000 sq. ft. garden in Ormenwood Park where she started an Organic Vegetable Gardening Program, which teaches the community how to grow their own organic garden. Since then, she has “grown” that space and now tends 2 large-sized plots in central Atlanta, in addition to her home garden.
